Lead Nursing Excellence in Our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)!
As the coordinator for nursing care in our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), you’ll be at the forefront of delivering compassionate and high-quality care. On your shift, you'll oversee the nursing team, ensuring we meet and maintain top-tier standards while adhering to policies and procedures. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous learning, safety, and improvement, all while collaborating closely with senior management, physicians, and staff. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Communication
Demonstrates leadership through effective communication, problem-solving, team-building skills, and promoting a patient safety culture in a non-punitive atmosphere.Supervisory Oversight of Staff
Provides oversight to assigned employees, monitoring their performance, conduct, and adherence to policies and procedures, including dress code compliance.Staffing and Patient Care Needs
Assesses staffing levels on the assigned shift to ensure appropriate staff-to-patient ratios and intervenes to address any staffing issues.Monitoring Overtime and Care in MAT Room
Monitors and controls overtime, ensuring efficient staffing during the shift, and oversees all aspects of care delivered in the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Room.Training and Performance Improvement
Provides training, coaching, and counseling to improve staff performance, and participates in safety training and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Required: Two (2) years of current nursing experience.
- Preferred: Psychiatric nursing experience.
- Preferred: Progressive leadership experience.
- Preferred: Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Unrestricted license to practice as a nurse in the state of employment or possess a multi-state compact license recognized by the State of employment to practice professional nursing.
