Join Our Team as a Custody Technician!
Be at the forefront of safety and security by operating various security systems! As a Custody Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our facility. From monitoring advanced surveillance systems and control panels to managing metal detectors and x-ray machines, you’ll be the tech expert that keeps everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Monitors and Addresses Security BreachesOversees the touchscreen display and addresses any security breaches or equipment failures promptly.
Commands System FunctionsOperates the system to unlock/lock electronic doors and manage access modes to control movement within the facility.
Maintains Equipment and System LogsConducts daily equipment checks and maintains a system log to document all events and actions taken.
Performs System DiagnosticsObtains and analyzes information from the system to assess the status of security, mechanical equipment, or system functionality.
Performs Operator MaintenanceExecutes operator maintenance on the system according to established procedures and verifies proper functioning through trend reporting and alarms.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: Must have completed the basic recruit training course(s) or its equivalent as established by the state certification/licensing authority.
Licenses:
- Required: Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority.
