Director of Clinical Services – Leading Innovation and Excellence in Behavioral Healthcare

Are you a clinical leader who thrives on shaping impactful programs and inspiring teams? As the Director of Clinical Services, you'll drive the development and implementation of transformative clinical programming and assessment services that support both high-quality care and organizational success.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide visionary leadership, promote ongoing staff education and training, and spearhead performance improvement initiatives that elevate outcomes and ensure excellence. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of clinical services—ensuring that every individual served receives compassionate, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Clinical Service Delivery: Lead the development and delivery of evidence-based clinical services, ensuring the highest quality of individual-centered care is provided to all individuals served.

• Provide Clinical Consultation and Support: Offer expert clinical consultation and ongoing support to the clinical team, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and strategies.

• Oversight of Clinical Services Staff: Provide clinical and administrative oversight to all clinical staff, guiding performance, development, and ensuring quality care standards are met.

• Ensure Compliance and Quality Improvement: Monitor and oversee the quality of documentation and treatment services to ensure compliance with laws, policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements; actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Represent Department in Committees: Serve as the department's representative in facility-wide committees, contributing expertise to enhance overall organizational practices and goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Required: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology. 

Experience:

• Required: Experience working with the population served.
• Preferred: Prior management experience.

Licenses:

• Required: Licensed or license-eligible.
