How you make a difference:
Operational Systems Support: Assist in implementing operational systems, processes, and policies to align with the hospital's mission, business needs, and licensing requirements.
Strategic Food Service Planning: Contribute to the planning and development of the food service department to ensure it supports hospital operations effectively.
Staff Training and Orientation: Oversee the training and orientation of food service staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and established expectations.
Safety Training Completion: Ensure all food service staff complete required safety training upon hire to maintain a safe work environment.
Facility Cleanliness and Quality Maintenance: Ensure the quality of food service operations and maintain cleanliness within the facility while supporting the daily food service functions.
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: Two (2) years supervisory experience in food service production in hospital, military, commercial or institutional setting or at least three (3) years working in a large institutional or commercial kitchen with increasing responsibilities.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: CDM Registration Eligible, ServSafe Certification.
- Preferred: Registered Dietitian.
