How you make a difference:
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Facility Purchasing Functions: Plans, coordinates, communicates, and supervises daily purchasing activities by applying relevant policies and procedures.
Supplier Sourcing: Sources suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, and quality to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Vendor Assessment: Assesses vendors and supports product or service selection to align with organizational needs and objectives.
Relationship Management: Develops and maintains strong, positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Budget Adherence: Ensures all expenditures are in line with budget parameters while collaborating with the finance team on contracts, invoicing, and financial matters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Preferred: Three (3) years' experience purchasing experience.
- Preferred: Familiarization with general accounting software.
- Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
