As a Residential Services Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of facility safety and supervision, ensuring a secure environment for all individuals served. You’ll oversee all internal areas of the facility, maintaining accountability and promoting a sense of safety throughout. Key Responsibilities:
- Performs Safety Duties & Assignments
Carries out a variety of safety-related tasks to ensure the security and well-being of the facility, individuals served, and staff. - Contributes to Treatment Plans & De-Escalation Strategies
Participates in treatment planning by providing input into goals, objectives, and strategies for de-escalation and safety. - Observes & Provides Redirection
Observes individuals served, offering de-escalation and redirection as needed to manage behaviors and prevent escalation. - Monitors & Tracks Environmental Safety
Conducts regular inspections of equipment, systems, and physical structures to maintain a safe and secure environment for all. - Provides Emergency Response & Support
Responds to emergencies, assists with disruptive or violent behaviors, and collaborates with clinical and medical staff to address safety concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Preferred: Able to handle conflict effectively.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority or contract.
