How you make a difference:
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and Implements Training Programs: Designs, develops, and updates curriculums, lesson plans, and training materials for new employee orientation, pre-service, on-the-job, in-service specialized, and contractor training.
Coordinates and Delivers Training: Administers and facilitates all training courses for personnel and contractors, ensuring materials are current with policies, regulations, and updates.
Manages Employee Training Records: Documents training hours, reviews training records for all staff and contractors, ensures certifications are up-to-date, and advises employees on recertification deadlines.
Ensures Compliance with Training Policies: Ensures all employees and contractors attend required training sessions in compliance with contractual and organizational policies.
Supervises and Develops Training Staff: Manages part-time or resource trainers and may oversee other employees, including hiring, evaluating, and facilitating training and development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: One (1) year experience as clerical support.
- Required: Ability to work with computers and the necessary software applications used by the department.
- Preferred: Prior experience in Human Resources or training.
