As a Vocational Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing targeted instruction that helps individuals served develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. Your focus will be on maximizing vocational learning and building confidence, enabling them to enhance their ability to perform vocational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Plans, Coordinates, and Implements Vocational ServicesOversees vocational readiness evaluations, job-seeking skills, and supported work activities to facilitate career development.
Provides Vocational InstructionInstructs individuals in various labor and technical skills through classroom instruction, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
Maintains Relevant RecordsKeeps accurate records, including testing results, work logs, and other necessary documentation for tracking progress.
Assesses Vocational Abilities and NeedsEvaluates individuals’ vocational abilities, needs, and preferences to provide tailored support.
Facilitates Job Seeking SkillsHelps individuals develop the necessary skills to seek employment, including resume building, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.
