What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Therapist (Substance Abuse) position at Recovery Unplugged?
Recovery Unplugged is a Substance Abuse Treatment and Behavioral Health Company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We own and operate several Substance Abuse Treatment Centers across the United States. We are currently seeking a Primary Therapist to support our newest treatment center in Charleston, South Carolina . Recovery Unplugged offers a full range of treatment at our locations across the United States. Our new Charleston, SC location will initially provide outpatient (PHP / IOP) services as we expand out footprint in the Charleston, SC area. Our Primary Therapist role is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities. They will be responsible for the care of assigned patients and will provide group, individual, and family therapies as assigned. This role will collaborate with the our Treatment Team in the development of a Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning, etc. .
Specific Qualifications & Background :
- Must have Masters degree in one of the following concentrations : Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Social Work.
- Licensed Preferred : LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Non licensed individuals will be considered if working towards licensure.
- Experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
- Understanding of ASAM criteria preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work with a treatment team.
- Strong rapport building skills.
