To perform major and minor mechanical repairs on all automatic pinsetter systems; to perform preventative maintenance duties that ensure equipment is in best possible working condition; will act as lead mechanic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.)
- Responsible to conduct daily/weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance per schedule.
- Ensure equipment is in best possible working condition by identifying potential hazards and repairing any problems that may arise with automatic pinsetter machines.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedule including cleaning and lubricating pinsetter machines documenting any problems and repair needs.
- Service lane machines to include oil, drag, and strip lanes daily; clean and buff approaches at close.
- Maintain general appearance of facility.
- Assist Sports Pavilion Management with repair and maintenance activities as needed.
- Secure building at close.
- Perform locker maintenance duties including building safety inspections and inventories.
- Assist Bowling Mechanic Supervisor mentor new hires.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Position requires availability to work all shifts to include weekends, nights, and holidays.
- When a uniform is provided it must be worn during all working hours.
- Maintains consistent record of acceptable attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Arizona driver's license and good driving record for insurance purposes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Sufficient Training and education to demonstrate possession of required knowledge, skills and qualifications are required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two years’ experience with automatic pinsetter, knowledge in trade skills such as electrical is desirable.
- Use of use of general mechanic tools and lane conditioning machine.
- Ability to read, write and speak English to analyze business materials, write reports and correspondence, and maintain effective communication with others.
- Ability to solve practical problems, handle varied situations with limited standardization, and interpret instructions in different formats.

Specific vision abilities required by this job due to pinpointing necessary adjustments, include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
