Primary Duties:

• Use computers for various applications, such as Freightview or other shipment management software, Google applications, and QuickBooks.
• Booking daily LTL and parcel shipments from prior days invoices and sales receipts.
• Answer phone calls made to the warehouse office and return or forward any messages left at the warehouse location.
• Perform daily administrative paperwork duties to ensure proper organization of field and warehouse crew members for each day's jobs.
• Actively scheduling installations and services with customers via SMS or phone calls.
• Greet visitors and/or vendors and properly check them in and direct them for warehouse pickups, deliveries, and/or returns.
• Maintain organization of all products returned to the warehouse from job sites and/or from returned shipments by properly documenting, photographing and tagging each item.
• Periodically performing inventory counts on our current inventory, and reporting to your manager.
• Any other duties assigned by your manager
• Endlessly and tirelessly working to create efficiency and better systems in our business (this is a big one!)

Qualifications:

• The hours of this position are Monday - Friday from 7-3:30. Please make sure you are able to work those hours before you apply.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Must possess strong computer skills
• Must possess interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be a self starter, and detail oriented
• Ability to multitask and to communicate clearly (verbal and written)
• Knows importance of being a team player
• Customer service and shipping experience is a plus (positive references from a prior employer are necessary)
• And of course, a positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
