What are the responsibilities and job description for the RV Service Advisor position at Recreational Staffing Solutions?
Our client is seeking an organized customerfocused RV Service Advisor to join their team. The RV Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers with service needs ensuring exceptional communication and a seamless repair experience. This role requires strong knowledge of RV systems excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively manage work orders estimates and schedules.
Responsibilities Greet customers and actively listen to understand their service needs. Create detailed and accurate work orders based on customer input and vehicle diagnostics. Provide customers with clear estimates for repairs and maintenance explaining the scope of work associated costs and timelines. Maintain constant communication with service technicians to ensure timely job completion and provide updates to customers. Coordinate with the parts department to ensure necessary parts are available for scheduled repairs. Handle customer inquiries complaints and servicerelated issues in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain accurate records of all service transactions including work orders invoices and communications. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support. Stay uptodate on RV product knowledge systems and service procedures through ongoing training. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications Proven experience as a service advisor or in a similar customer service role preferably in the RV or automotive industry. Strong knowledge of RV systems maintenance and repair procedures is highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication and problemsolving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using RV service management software and computer systems. Certification or training in RV service management or a related field is a plus (e.g. RVDA Service Advisor Certification). Valid driver s license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or technical fields is preferred. Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
Key Skills and Attributes Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong technical understanding of RV systems and repairs to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians. A proactive approach to customer service ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and professionally. Familiarity with scheduling systems and inventory coordination.
Work Environment Fastpaced service environment with frequent customer interactions. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and work flexible hours as needed. Requires occasional outdoor work including exposure to varying weather conditions.
