We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer with experience in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building scalable and maintainable web applications and RESTful APIs.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
· Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend features and integrations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
· 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
· Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
· Solid experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
· Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
· Strong experience in designing and developing mobile-responsive frontends with a focus on usability and performance across devices.
· Good understanding of web performance, security, and responsive design.
· Skilled at crafting API documentation so clear it reduces Teams messages by 87%.
· Strong experience using mongoose to define schemas, build models, and perform CRUD operations and queries in MongoDB.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
· Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
· Experience with Linux (WSL, Amazon Linux 2023, etc.).
· Experience working with Next.js – SSR, caching, etc.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
· Experience with TypeScript.
· Experience with global staete management – Redux, Context API, etc.
· Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
· Experience creating MongoDB aggregation pipelines.
· Experience creating robust test suites using tools like React Testing Library, Jest, SuperTest, etc. to validate UI components, API endpoints, controllers, etc.
