Position Summary : The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the company's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in OTC drug manufacturing and sales. The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement business strategies that achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of the company, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, sales, and marketing.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Lead initiatives to expand the company's market presence and product offerings.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor financial performance and optimize operational budgets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in an executive operational leadership role.
  • Proven experience in OTC drug manufacturing and sales.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and GMP compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful operational strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
