What are the responsibilities and job description for the Closing Officer position at Recruit Right Strategies?
Recruit Right Strategies is seeking candidates with a sales and/or title background to become Closing Officers for our client in the new home building/mortgage industry. These are full-time, direct hire roles with excellent compensation and benefits. These positions are NOT REMOTE, but this is a healthy, stable company where you can even get a discount on purchasing a home. People in these industries are encouraged to apply:
· Transaction Coordinators at Real Estate Offices
· Sales Assistants at new home builders
· Office staff at Apartment communities
* Retail Managers
· Individuals currently part of a Real Estate Team on the “backend” who would like to have more customer interaction
Closing Officer responsibilities:
· Handle a pipeline of approximately thirty (30) settlements per month
· Handle all customer and Realtor and Partner contact throughout settlement process
o At contract ratification
o At start of construction
o To obtain information necessary to process files via secure methods
o To supply important information necessary for settlement via secure methods
o Coordinate with Builder, customer, Realtor and Mortgage companies to scheduled (and if necessary reschedule settlements) for respective pipeline
o To provide settlement appointment date, time and location in an appropriate timeframe prior to settlement
o Provide completed settlement statements to all parties prior to settlement
o Confirm settlement appointment and settlement day requirements within one (1) week of settlement
o Obtain information from Realtor (if applicable) necessary for settlement statement completion
o Provide final amounts due from buyer prior to settlement
o Notify customer upon receipt of wired funds
· Complete review of files for accuracy prior to settlement and to update/fix/correct any errors found
· Prep files for settlement
· Conduct settlements (both in office and off-site locations – example: Model Home)
· Coordinate with partners as to settlements both before and after actual settlement via weekly TEAMS meetings
· Visit new home communities within your respective pipeline and Sales Managers of said communities
· Review of documents after settlement for accuracy and completeness (all signatures obtained, all dates are accurate and all boxes checked)
· Scan and upload for the processing team
· Provide copies, documents and checks to customers and Realtors after settlement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
