Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (150 beds), highly rated Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Seattle, WA that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The successful candidate will have a “can-do” attitude, a reputation for being a collaborative team player as well as having a well- rounded background in staff education and infection control. The ADON will be responsible for handling all duties affecting the care and well-being of patients, as well as supervising the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains supervision of Nursing personnel staff; assures a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in QAPI meetings and programs.
- Work with the Director of Nursing and staff to evaluate training needs for the staff especially in the area of risk management, etc.
- Assume responsibility of the duties in the absence of DON.
- Provide nursing assessments and care plan development and assessments
- Establishes a compassionate and supporting environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Provides information to patients, families and other health care teams.
- Documents and maintains nursing guidelines, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have skilled Nursing Home experience- at least 3- 5 years
- Supervisory Experience – at least two years in an ADON role
- Very familiar with DOH survey process
- Excellent team dynamic skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid WA state RN license – A must
