What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development - RFQ, RFI, RFP Capture position at Recruit Secure?
Recruit Secure, LLC is collaborating with a large healthcare company that is seeking a Business Development/Salesman for direct hire to their team. The BD/Salesman will be primarily responsible for creating new sales opportunities by seeking out RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs for healthcare professionals from a variety of sources, i.e., Departments of Health, State and County and Federal Government agencies, etc. The focus of this position is to find new business pursuits to grow the business. The BD/Salesman will work with the company’s in-house team, which will answer requests and submit proposals.
The successful candidate will be a HUNTER with experience in seeking appropriate contract opportunities for healthcare staff from RFQs, and RFIs, and experience analyzing requirements, and developing strategies to capture leads in the NY, NJ, and PA areas. Healthcare experience is a must. This position reports to a Managing Partner and is located in Brooklyn, NY (A hybrid position may be considered). Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field a plus
- 2 years of professional sales experience, Capture Manager experience a plus.
- Ability to build sales strategy and lead RFP, RFI, and RFQs for new clients
- Highly motivated and goal - oriented
- Experience conducting market/industry/prospective client research,
- Ability to work independently and function as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills
- Interact with management to approve RFP/RFQ suitability
