Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large, established, and successful, for-profit Healthcare company seeking an energetic and seasoned executive for the Chief Operations Officer (COO) role. The company owns many Skilled Nursing Homes in the NY metro area. The focus of this position is to assist the company in delivering strategic plans to achieve corporate goals, address operational challenges, provide executive support to the staff, and implement financial and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in business development, financial management, and revenue generation, as well as designing and implementing strategies to achieve regional and corporate goals. Experience as a leader in the healthcare industry, specifically with Skilled Nursing Homes, is a must. Additionally, a deep understanding of long-term care facility operations, including all federal, state, local, and Department of Health guidelines and regulations is required. The position reports to the Managing Partner/CEO. A competitive salary, benefits, bonuses, and a profit-sharing plan are offered.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
- 8-12 years of health care operational experience in long-term, Skilled Nursing
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years in a Senior Leadership role, e.g., VP, Regional Administrator or Executive SVP, COO
- Prior experience as a Skilled Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)– a big plus
- Experience in overseeing multiple facilities
- Experience Hiring, Managing, and Mentoring senior healthcare positions.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying financial processes and performance problems and implementing solutions to increase revenues and optimize performance.
- Knowledgeable of healthcare regulations and standards
- Knowledgeable of Medicare, Medicaid, and other Payor policies and regulations.
