Regional VP of Operations

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a very large, well-established, for-profit Healthcare company that is seeking an energetic and dynamic Regional VP of Operations. The company owns many Skilled Nursing Facilities across the Western US.  The focus of this position is to assist the company in delivering strategic plans to achieve corporate goals, address operational challenges, and support the Administrators and staff of each of the 8 facilities. The successful candidate will have experience as an Administrator managing multiple facilities and demonstrated success in staff leadership, census and business development, and a strong commitment to providing a high level of care at each facility. Additionally, a deep understanding of long-term care facility and financial operations, including all federal, state, local, and Department of Health guidelines and regulations. Candidates living in Washington are preferred but the company is open to relocation assistance for the right candidate. The position reports directly to the SVP of Operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
• 6- 8 years of health care operational experience in long-term, Skilled Nursing
• LNHA certification
• 5 years in a Senior Leadership role, e.g., Regional Director, Area Manager or Director – a must
• Experience in managing multiple skilled nursing facilities.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying financial, processes or performance problems and implementing solutions.
• Knowledgeable of healthcare regulations and working with the Department of Health
• Familiarity with CMI and pay-for-performance programs.
• Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel at least 3-4 days a week.
