What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Educator - Skilled Nursing Home - NY position at Recruit Secure?
Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (300 beds) but highly rated Skilled Nursing Home in Brooklyn, NY area that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and caring RN Nurse Educator. The Nurse Educator will be responsible for the day-to-day nursing activities and maintaining quality of care throughout the entire facility. Additionally, the Nurse Educator will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a variety of educational programs for the Nursing staff. The Nurse Educator is an important part of the Nursing and Quality Administrative team and participates in monitoring performance and outcomes, gathering data for assessments, and contributing to enhancements to QAPI and other clinical, staff, and patient initiatives.
The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing Homes,) and experience planning and directing educational and on-the-job training and In-Service programs, and Orientation sessions and have great communication skills to interact with physicians, families, and the nursing staff. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements :
- BRN degree preferred but not mandatory
- Current NY- RN License - a must
- Experience (at least 2 -3 years) working as a Supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Home is a must
- Ability to plan, develop, direct, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs
- Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
- Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
- Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
