As the Accounting Manager, you’ll lead the accounting team, streamline processes, and ensure rock-solid financial reporting.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, optimizing financial operations, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the Accounting Function
Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and maintain financial controls to keep everything running smoothly and in compliance with GAAP.
Financial Reporting & Insights
Prepare and review financial reports, providing data-driven insights to support leadership decisions.
Analyze budget variances, trends, and forecasts to help optimize financial performance.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure financial operations align with local, state, and federal regulations (GAAP, SOX, tax requirements).
Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to facilitate seamless audits.
Building & Leading a High-Performing Team
Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-energy work culture.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and drive accountability across the department.
Driving Process Improvement & Innovation
Identify opportunities to optimize financial workflows, automate processes, and enhance reporting tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement financial best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
Experience
5-7 years in accounting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite or similar ERP systems).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems.
Leadership & Problem-Solving
A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities, develop a team, and improve processes.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and present financial insights with clarity.
