We are seeking for a Line Lead for one of clients, a leader in food packaging and distribution, in the Elgin, IL area. These positions are contract-to-hire, with outstanding benefits!!

Company Benefits:

• 40 hours PTO
• 72 hours holiday

1st 8am – 4:30pm

Pay: $17 - $18 / hour

Job Overview

Ensure proper functioning and sanitizing of assembly lines, equipment, and processing areas.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

• Follow the Company's safety and FSQA policies and procedures
• Operate production equipment
• Load product onto production equipment
• Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
• Packout and palletize product at the end of the line
• Report on defective products or machinery
• Complete production paperwork
• Material handling
• Keep the worksite clean
• Responsible for handling chemicals properly, and following all procedures related to chemical storage and usage
• Clean and sanitize equipment in processing areas
• Clean and sanitize holding containers, buckets, and other supplies used in processing areas
• Clean and sanitize utensils used in processing areas
• Clean and sanitize the floor in the processing areas
• Clean and sanitize conveyors

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
• Understanding of how production equipment works
• Experience in sanitation role
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
