Multi-family office located in Manhattan’s Financial District, specializes in advising high-net-worth individuals is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Officer to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to leverage your extensive network and influential contacts to drive new client acquisition and enhance our wealth management services.
As a Business Development Officer, you will report directly to the Managing Partners and will play a crucial role in identifying and onboarding new clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition: Drive client growth in both existing and new markets.
- Pipeline Development: Identify potential clients and referral sources through strategic networking and education on AJ Wealth's capabilities.
- Networking & Relationship Management: Build and sustain a strong network within the industry and community to generate leads and referrals.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients and expand referral networks.
- Client Proposals & Presentations: Create tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients, highlighting AJ Wealth’s services and value propositions.
- Prospective Client Evaluation: Assess potential clients to determine fit and suitability for AJ Wealth’s services.
- Complex Client Opportunities: Identify and engage with high-net-worth prospects and centers of influence to position AJ Wealth’s offerings effectively.
- Client Onboarding & Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to client, maintaining strong communication throughout the onboarding process.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, ensuring the successful transition of clients and identifying opportunities to optimize their portfolios and strategies.
- Growth & Optimization: Continuously seek new ways to enhance the value and quality of services for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment or wealth management,
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- High self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Excellent follow-through and execution abilities.
