Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with strong courtroom skills, solid legal research and writing capabilities, and the ability to manage cases from inception through trial. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated litigator to take ownership of challenging matters, work closely with clients, and contribute to a dynamic litigation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, business torts, real estate litigation, and shareholder/member disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Perform legal research and case analysis
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic counsel
- Collaborate with partners and other team members on litigation strategy and execution
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- 4 years of commercial litigation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
