Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective financial reporting processes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounting systems and implement necessary upgrades to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the private equity partner on select projects to drive growth and profitability.
- Lead the finance function, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure continued growth and development.
- Develop and execute project finance strategies, managing fundraising efforts and analyzing investment returns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of senior-level finance experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Big 4 accounting firm and strong audit background is a must.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and tax planning.
- Occasional travel.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing firm building financial infrastructure is a plus.
- Passion or interest in renewable energy is a bonus.
