Base Salary: $130,000-$150,000/year
Job Overview:
The Lead Superintendent is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure successful project completion. This role focuses on job site safety, quality control, and adherence to project schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the field team to ensure efficient project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project setup, job site logistics, and scheduling.
- Review project documents and shop drawings for constructability.
- Coordinate building inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and address issues promptly.
- Ensure quality control by regularly inspecting work progress and managing resources.
- Develop project sequencing, manage temporary works, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols and drive company initiatives on site.
- Utilize project management and scheduling software for efficient project tracking.
- Mentor project staff and attend project meetings to align on progress and objectives.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven track record managing projects of similar size and complexity.
- Strong understanding of construction budgets and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with construction management software, especially Procore and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
- OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Safety Certification.
