Job Title: Lemon Law Paralegal
Work Model: Remote
Base Salary: $30-$45/hour
Job Overview: As a Paralegal on our team, you’ll be a critical part of ensuring favorable outcomes for our clients. From drafting essential documents to managing schedules and case activities, your contributions will directly impact the success of our cases. Strong demand writing and negotiation support will be key to excelling in this role. Pre-litigation negotiation experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Assist attorneys with Lemon Law and other consumer protection cases.
- Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Maintain and organize case files with attention to detail.
- Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and reminders.
- Schedule client meetings, depositions, and hearings while keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
- Conduct initial client interviews to gather case details.
- Ensure all legal documents are accurate and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Lemon Law or litigation-related fields is required.
- Expertise in drafting demand letters and assisting with negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and case management.
- Proficiency in tools like Clio, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Outstanding organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team collaboration.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
