The Team Lead will be responsible for the following:
· Work with the Supervisor to identify processes that require improvement in material flow, line support, 5S.
· Shift review with leadership team to include visual management and inventory logistics deviations.
· Coordinate training, work schedules and assignments and conduct shift transition meetings.
· Investigate and determine cause of defective work and consult/advise as to corrective measure.
· Develop/Implement process initiatives.
· Maintain proper documentation and records.
· Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
· Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
· Responsible for continuous improvement.
· Knowledgeable of back-up systems and procedures.
· Encourage and promote safe working practices along with enforcing safety and workplace rules.
· Other duties as required.

· Forklift experience preferred or the ability to pass CLIs forklift training certification process.

Work Environment:
The employee will be working in a warehouse environment and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Employee will be exposed to variable temperature conditions based on the season. They will also be exposed to medium to loud noise conditions and may be working near vibration. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must have adequate hearing, eyesight, depth perception, and color vision to perform duties. Must be able to view a computer monitor and perform mouse and keyboarding tasks with dexterity and accuracy.
