Title: SAT Test Proctor and Monitor

About Us: We are a Raleigh, NC-based call center looking to recruit individuals to administer, proctor, and monitor SAT testing sessions. This is a flexible contract-based opportunity, ideal for those seeking supplemental income.
Overview: As an SAT Test Proctor and Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and secure testing environment for students. Your primary duties will include verifying test taker identities, monitoring test progress, ensuring compliance with test rules, and assisting test takers with any questions or issues during the exam. You will be provided basic training regarding proper SAT test administration but maintain some flexibility to make the testing experience however you see fit.
Potential Responsibilities:
- Proctor - Managing the test room and Room Monitors, and ensuring test day expectations are followed.
- Room Monitor - Supporting the check-in operations, and assisting in monitoring the test room while students are testing.
- Hall Monitor - Helping direct students to the correct test rooms, assisting in student seating, and monitoring the assigned students during breaks and dismissal.
- Tech Support- Helping support students on test day if a tech question arises (such as minor tech issues such as browser not working, connecting to Wi-Fi, etc…).
- Crowd Control - Serving as an initial point of contact for students and parents, admitting students to the check-in area, and managing the initial flow of test takers (mostly at the reception area of the testing venue).
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Must have and be willing to use a personal smartphone & personal device (laptop, Chromebook, tablet, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a controlled, quiet environment
