VP of Accounting & Finance – Private Equity Firm - Dallas, TX
Our client, a middle market Private Equity firm based in Dallas, TX is a seeking a VP of Accounting & Finance to join their team. This position will manage all aspects of the Firm’s accounting, reporting, and compliance functions.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting, financial reporting, tax filings, and budgeting for investment funds and management company
- Manage expenses and cash management for all entities
- Prepare quarterly & annual reports for investors
- Manage compliance with SEC, SBA, and other regulators
- Work with the firm’s outsourced administrative relationships including fund administrator, compliance advisor, HR provider, IT, auditors, and tax advisors
- Support investor and prospective investor related activities including preparation of marketing materials, responding to due diligence requests, supporting onboarding, and assisting with investor request materials.
- Serve as the primary source of knowledge of the Funds’ limited partnership agreements and governing documents
Education and Experience
- CPA with min 10 years of progressive experience in accounting with private equity, venture capital or investment management.
- Min 2 years public accounting firm experience within audit, tax, or advisory services
- 5 years of experience with a private equity firm or venture capital firm preferred
- US GAAP and partnership tax experience
