Seeking an enthusiastic Structural Supervising Engineer with experience supporting PowerGeneration and Heaving Industrial Projects in the Charlotte, NC offices.Responsibilities include managing structural project activities from conception to construction includingsupporting structural site work. The successful applicant can look forward to projects including simple andcombined cycle powerplants, nuclear projects, and plant retrofits throughout the United States thatrequire all facets of structural engineering and design.Responsibilitiesa. Functioning as the structural discipline lead on a project.b. As the structural engineer of record for assigned projects, using your professional engineeringlicense to sign and seal structural drawings developed under your supervision.c. Power plant and heavy industrial facility design.d. Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary team of engineers and designers to complete project tasks onschedule and on budget.e. Reviewing relevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents to supportproject development.f. Performing structural calculations, developing engineering reports, studies, specifications, anddesign drawings.g. Ability to develop material and workhour estimates as well as engineering and design schedulesEducation : Bachelor of Science degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering from a four-year accreditedcollege or university.? Experiencea. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and design.b. Minimum 3 years in an engineering leadership position? Experience with industry standard engineering software such as STAAD Pro, MathCad, etc..? The successful candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be capableof collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers?
