What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer / Sourcing Specialist position at Recruiting For Less?
Our Seattle client is in the first aid / health care sector. They are looking for a highly organized individual to join their purchasing staff as a Buyer.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of overseas sourcing experience primarily in the far east i.e. China.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in contract negotiation and vendor / contract administration
- Experience leading sourcing projects required.
- Experience in developing reporting tools, such as sourcing dashboards and corresponding reports required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and / or implement effective solutions.
- relationships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners at varying levels to positively affect outcomes at the team, department, and organization level.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and shift priorities to meet day-to-day operational needs.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking / presentation.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
Salary : Commensurate with experience, PTO, Benefits, 401k
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
