What You Will Do
- Deploy and customize Kubernetes-based applications across diverse environments, including SaaS offerings and customer-managed infrastructures
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure with a focus on high availability and resilience
- Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions using Datadog to proactively identify and address system issues
- Oversee Kubernetes clusters and utilize Helm for efficient package management and deployment automation
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and create automation scripts in Python or Bash
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, development, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to operating systems, networking, and databases in cloud environments
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes
Ideal Candidate Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
- 1-2 years managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- 1-2 years working with Datadog or similar monitoring tools
- 1-3 years of Linux system administration and shell scripting experience
- 1-2 years working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Familiarity with vector databases and search technologies like Elasticsearch
- Knowledge of Rust programming language
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes
- Previous customer-facing technical support experience
