What You Will Do:
- Design and optimize data flow architectures across on-prem, edge, and cloud-based applications
- Create seamless integrations between backend perception systems and customer-facing interfaces
- Evaluate and implement technologies for hardware-software integration, including firmware drivers and data pipeline architectures
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD and OTA update systems
- Develop scalable machine learning pipelines and data engineering solutions
- Collaborate on security policies and incident response frameworks
- Monitor system performance and proactively address integration challenges
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Experience developing software for hardware products in safety-critical fields (aerospace, robotics, medical devices, autonomous vehicles)
- Track record with complex distributed systems supporting production loads
- Strong foundation in software lifecycle best practices
- Versatile technical skills spanning cloud services to embedded systems
- Background in building reproducible data and machine learning pipelines
- AWS expertise, including infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve secure systems
Preferred:
- Experience with sensor integration and real-time systems
- Background in computer vision or perception systems
- Track record of architectural decision-making in a production environment
- Experience with robotics or autonomous systems
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $195,000 - $239,000
- Equity: 0.10% - 0.50%
