First Data Scientist - High-Growth Web3 Infrastructure (Series A)

Company Description

Our client is a well-funded Web3 infrastructure company ($24M Series A backed by Coinbase and Shopify) building developer tools used by millions. Their platform enables developers to create decentralized applications that are shaping the future of Web3.

What You Will Do

• Drive product strategy through data-driven insights and recommendations
• Build and maintain critical data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
• Create dashboards and metrics that guide product development
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to evaluate impact
• Identify growth opportunities through blockchain data analysis
• Shape the data science function as the founding member

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3 years experience as a Data Scientist working on software products
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with blockchain datasets and analytics tools
• Background in building data pipelines and ETL processes
• Quantitative degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related)
• Track record of communicating complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Web3 data tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto)
• Knowledge of blockchain data structures and API integration
• Background working in high-growth technology companies
• Active participation in Web3 community events or technical writing

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $140,000 - $210,000
• Equity: 0.01% - 1.25%
