What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend systems using React and TypeScript
- Build and maintain responsive, ARIA-compliant web components (primarily using headless UI libraries)
- Create custom D3 data visualizations, implement complex rich-text editor experiences with TipTap, and build beautiful workflow experiences with React Flow
- Optimize build processes using tools like Vite and Webpack to improve developer experience and frontend performance
- Experiment with, assess, and integrate various frontend tools and frameworks to keep the tech stack cutting edge
- Work closely with the founding team and entire Engineering/Product/Design team on high-impact projects essential to the product roadmap
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4-7 years of experience in frontend development, with strong React and TypeScript expertise
- Experience building and maintaining ARIA-compliant, reusable component libraries
- Knowledge of frontend build systems (e.g., Vite, Webpack)
- Experience with modern frontend technologies including D3, TipTap, React Query, and React Flow
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Track record of taking ownership of large features or products from concept to deployment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an early startup employee or at a rapidly growing scale-up
- Experience playing a significant role in taking products from 0-1 or 1-10
- Strong interest in building AI/LLM-centric products and features
- Ability to translate high-level business/product ideas into deployed engineering solutions
- Comfort with and excitement about mentoring other engineers
