Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
Recruiting Heroes is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our client in support of their DoD CIO contract.
Clearance = Active Secret, Top Secret preferred.
Currently, this is mostly telework with occasional requirement to report onsite at Mark Center or Pentagon or DISA Ft. Meade.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with extensive experience in Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems, commercial cloud technologies, and Zero Trust Architecture. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical knowledge, coupled with strong executive communication and presentation skills, particularly using Microsoft PowerPoint, to engage stakeholders at all levels. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge IT solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of DoD missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership :
Design secure, scalable, and mission-aligned IT solutions for DoD environments.
Collaborate with senior DoD leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to understand mission requirements and align IT solutions with operational goals.
Provide guidance on the adoption of commercial cloud solutions, including migration strategies, security configurations, and operational efficiencies.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions adhere to Zero Trust principles, including identity and access management (IAM), micro-segmentation, and continuous monitoring.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD IT environments, including system architecture, networking, and cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of DoD security frameworks, including NIST 800-207, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and RMF processes.
Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
