Internship Overview
The Lafayette 148’s internship program provides rising juniors, seniors and recently-graduated college students the opportunity to gain valuable experience working at a luxury fashion brand. This internship offers hands-on experience in the world of fashion content marketing. The Digital Content & Social Media Marketing Intern will support the in-house Copy & Content team in all aspects of seasonal content planning and execution across the brand’s 360-degree communication channels, with a focus on organic and paid social media, web/email and photoshoot support. The Digital Content & Social Media Marketing Intern will gain a deep understanding of fashion content marketing while collaborating cross-functionally with creative, photoshoot, design, public relations, ecommerce, buying, merchandising and performance marketing teams.
Internship Functions:
- Support Photoshoots & Content Creation:
- Support Content Director to build content briefs for photoshoots
- Manage audio recordings & transcriptions post-production
- Social Media Assistance:
- Work with Content Team on social media strategy, briefs, captions and postings on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels.
- Assist in developing ad copy and managing assets for paid advertising channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Google.
- Email & Site Content:
- Support the team's day-to-day responsibilities in building, maintaining and implementing email and site content calendars
- Create monthly content snapshots and distribute internally to the company
- Benchmarking Responsibilities:
- Conduct and circulate weekly research on industry trends and competitors in Email, Paid / Organic Social, Marketing Campaigns, Brand Content and Influencer campaigns
- Content – Asset Management:
- Organize digital assets to reflect seasonal communication stories
- QA content
- Update the Content Team’s office walls with in-progress projects and seasonal content asset hierarchy
Desired Background:
- College undergraduate or recently graduated in a field of study related to area of internship
- Experience, skill and interest in writing is preferred

Pay Range:
The base pay range for this position in New York City is $18.00 hourly; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
