Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain the IT systems that support our business operations. This role requires strong problem-solving and multitasking skills, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear, non-technical way. If you are a hard-working, detail-oriented IT professional who thrives in a collaborative, solutions-focused environment, this is an opportunity to play a key role in keeping our systems secure, efficient, and reliable. As part of our IT team, you will manage both hardware and software systems, oversee network infrastructure, and ensure cybersecurity and server administration best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems, using tools like Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Oversee IT operations, ensuring efficient hardware, software, network, and security performance.
• Maintain servers in VMware, Citrix, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
• Monitor system health, address security risks, and lead remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with departments to assess IT needs and implement solutions.
• Automate, track, and resolve database-related incidents and requests.
• Recommend and implement IT policies, security measures, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and assist with Windows-based domains, SQL servers, Zoom Phone System, EDI, and remote access.
• Manage user access, security, and application configurations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required:
  
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT operations with a strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in: Windows Server, Networking, IT Security, Powershell, & VBScript.
• Preferred:
  
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years supporting a corporate IT infrastructure including Networking and/or Cybersecurity experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network , and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
  • Background in networking and/or cybersecurity.
