On-site Leasing Manager (Approved Housing Manager)
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Position Summary:
The Leasing Manager oversees all operational aspects of the Community with a focus on successful leasing, budget performance, rent collections, staff administration, and resident satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve leasing goals through marketing, renewal campaigns, and staff motivation.
- Manage daily leasing operations, including tours, calls, and emails.
- Use leasing tools like Entrata, SEO, and online marketing.
- Maintain accurate resident ledgers.
- Foster a positive community for residents and team members.
Apartment Management Requirements:
- Must live on-site (additional managers required for large properties).
- Advocate for Student Living principles, with a presence respected by students.
- Ecclesiastical endorsement required annually; must follow university dress and grooming standards.
- No long-term guests or pets; separate living quarters from students.
- Attend monthly forums, training, and complete “New Manager Training.”
- Verify tenant eligibility and maintain accurate student address records.
- Make timely apartment assignments and manage student information for ecclesiastical leaders.
- Ensure accurate pricing and property details on BYU-Idaho's Approved Housing Search webpage.
Qualifications:
- Exemplary customer service and sales skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox.
- High School diploma or GED required; college experience preferred.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
