What are the responsibilities and job description for the DRG - Andiamo - Pantry Worker position at Recruiting Team?
JOB SUMMARY: Personnel within this job classification perform those duties normally associated with preparation of food items including but not limited to: salads, sandwiches/salads, garnish items and other item in accordance with recipes and hotel menus.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Making cold appetizers and plating of desserts, including salads, vegetable and meat platters, and shucking of oysters
Preparing vinaigrettes, dressings, garnishes, prepping salad ingredients, and prepping garnishes for desserts
Opening and closing as well as maintenance of assigned area/given station
Follow the Southern Nevada Health District's food safety regulations and procedures
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience as a pantry cook, prep cook or similar role
Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
Good knowledge of food plating techniques
Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Availability to work in shifts including evenings and weekends
SNHD food handlers card required
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, comprehend and follow given recipes
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
