JOB SUMMARY:
The server position is to ensure that all guests are greeted and attended to in a timely, friendly and professional manner. To represent the company and the position in a professional manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
Greeting and acknowledging all guests within one minute of being seated with a professional and positive attitude
Seating Guests when required
Take orders from guests for food and beverage
Complete understanding of POS system to ensure timely service of orders
Presentation of meu to guests, answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon requests
Explain various menu items, preparation, ingredients and cooking methods
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Professional personal appearance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards
Prior experience as a food server is desirable
Must have interpersonal skills and demonstrate a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate or equivalent
Clark County Health District Card
Culinary Union Referral
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members
Ability to carry 40 pound tray above shoulder
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
