JOB SUMMARY:
The Pool Box Office Cashier is responsible for processing ticketing and cashiering transactions for Stadium Swim
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
Handles cash, credit card and complimentary transactions at the point of sales system
Processing of pre-purchased ticket transactions
Processing of retail transactions
Responsible for daily setup and breakdown of work area
Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understand duties in the event of an emergency
Provide constant visual surveillance of pool and surrounding area identifying any safety or emergency
Assists guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessary
Understands and well versed in the resort features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests
Attend required training
Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age
A minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a high volume beverage, day club or pool setting
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must be able to communicate in English
Ability to perform basic mathematics, accurately and consistently balance a cash drawer in accordance with company policy
Must be able to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
Existing customer database strongly desired, but not required
Ability to work within a team environment and maintain a positive “whatever it takes” attitude
Must be able to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts
Must possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions
Willingness to participate in promotional campaigns & promote upcoming events via social platforms
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have or be able to obtain all required Nevada work cards (Health, TAM, Non-gaming)
Must have or be able to obtain gaming license with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members and Guests
Ability to stand and walking for long periods of time
Extreme weather conditions both hot and cold, indoors and outdoors
May be exposed to second hand smoke and a loud environment
Must be able to handle prolonged periods of sun exposure
