Key Responsibilities
- Handle Gain/Loss reporting and maintain cost basis records for Wealth Management customer accounts
- Collaborate with cross-organizational operations teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing
- Reconcile discrepancies between processing systems and ensure regulatory reporting accuracy (e.g., cost basis and withholding)
- Assist with requirements gathering and testing for strategic platform initiatives
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to tight operational and annual deadlines
- Provide support for tax-related inquiries and regulatory reporting tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience in the financial industry
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles as applied to the financial industry
- Proficiency in database, spreadsheet applications, and data modeling, including Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with financial industry processes and general process controls
- Familiarity with IRS regulations and tax-related reporting
