Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency.

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production metrics and identify trends for further improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and lead corrective actions.
• Support quality assurance initiatives to ensure product meets and exceeds industry standards.
• Oversee equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to streamline material flow.
• Lead projects to introduce new technologies and equipment into the manufacturing process.
• Prepare reports and presentations on process performance and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control techniques.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
