Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join the Client Institutional Product and Business Enablement Technology team in Smithfield, RI. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with both client and server-side technologies, contributing to the development of automation frameworks that ensure functional and regression testing across large-scale projects. As a key player, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation frameworks and strategies for both new and existing projects.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts to support functional and regression testing efforts.
- Engage in scrum activities including test coverage reviews, sprint planning, and story grooming.
- Provide automation solutions across the full stack—front-end, middle-tier services, and back-end data providers.
- Document, track, and monitor software issues, ensuring comprehensive test scenarios are automated and maintained.
- Work with analysts, developers, and business teams to create robust testing solutions that meet project requirements.
- Lead the development of test automation strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.
