Responsibilities
Platform Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for increasing Amazon sales
- Manage presence on platforms like Walmart Marketplace and other direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
E-Commerce Operations
- Oversee product catalog and site merchandising
- Develop advertising strategies and campaigns
- Oversee inventory management
- Analyze customer feedback and product reviews to inform improvements and strategies.
- Monitor marketplace performance and generate insights
- Digital Marketing
- Implement digital marketing strategies
- Optimize strategies to maximize sales conversion rates.
- Develop and manage promotional calendars to align with sales objectives.
- Understand and leverage digital marketing channels
Strategic Leadership
- Develop overarching e-commerce business strategies
- Guide new product ideation and development
- Manage P&L and financial performance
- Establish goals for the e-commerce team
- Drive topline and bottom-line growth
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing online marketplace businesses
- Must have extensive experience with the Amazon platform, including:
- Backend operations and Amazon Vendor Central
- Product assets creation
- Product listing optimization
- Inventory management
- Advertising and promotions
- Familiarity with other major e-commerce marketplaces such as Walmart Marketplace
- Experience in managing direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce channels.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills to drive team performance and collaboration.
- Proven ability to develop and execute e-commerce growth strategies
- Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics to drive sales
- Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and generate actionable business insights.
