Linux Systems Administrator About The Job
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform analysis of Windows / Unix / Linux / storage servers needed in a virtualized environment and contribute to design of server architecture integration installation troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Primarily responsible for all Linux and Unix server environments and backup to Windows server environment.
- Create and maintain users and permissions.
- Maintain proper data protection services with backups replications and offsite backups.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining system configuration and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure systems are configured operated maintained and disposed of in accordance with the documented security policies and procedures.
- Work with IT security personnel to ensure confidentiality integrity and availability of systems.
- Work with IT Support Specialist to provide 2nd level support for challenging issues.
- Work with other System Administrators to provide a team approach to various challenges and solutions.
- Some after hours and weekend support may be required.
- This position is onsite located in Salina KS.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications physical demands and / or work environment.
