Marketing Automation Developer

About the Job :

The Marketing Automation Developer will play a pivotal role in engaging members throughout their journey while leveraging expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to ensure that members have the best possible products and services for their needs. This role focuses on optimizing customer relationship management strategies implementing personalized marketing campaigns and utilizing advanced tools to uncover insights for targeted acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate in this semiautonomous role will use these platforms to create impactful member experiences refine audience segmentation and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve organizational growth objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrates proficiency with marketing automation tools and customer data platforms (CDP) particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to enhance campaign automation personalization and reporting.
  • Manages the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation for targeted campaigns.
  • Develops and executes multichannel campaigns (email SMS inapp) that support member acquisition onboarding and retention.
  • Designs and implements lifecycle marketing programs to engage members at key touchpoints driving growth and reducing churn.
  • Optimizes communication flows based on data insights and campaign performance metrics.
  • Utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to analyze existing member data and uncover new audience segments for acquisition.
  • Develops strategies to target highvalue prospects and integrate these findings into ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Brand Management team to build data models that identify key traits of potential members.
  • Works closely with crossfunctional team to align campaigns with organizational goals and insights.
  • Analyzes campaign results to provide actionable recommendations including audience refinement and message optimization.

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to manage campaigns and extract insights.
  • Exceptional project management and attention to detail.
  • Effective at educating and / or advising others.

  • Collaborates proactively and effectively with marketing team and other cross functional team members.

    • Education Training & Experience :

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Technology or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in CRM email marketing or lifecycle marketing.
  • Handson experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud is required.
  • Expertise in A / B testing campaign analytics and audience segmentation.
  • Familiarity with financial services marketing is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships.
