About the Job :
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with at least 2 years of designer or project manager experience working with HVAC and using CAD. The Mechanical Designer will work under the supervision of a senior engineer.
Responsibilities :
- Design HVAC systems, including equipment selection, for a variety of projects.
- Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
- Coordinate project document completion within company and externally with clients.
- Complete design in accordance with code. Production is performed using AutoCAD and Revit depending on preference of architect.
- Participate in construction phase services including answering RFIs, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, participating in project walk-throughs, and providing field assessment reports
